Our resident massage therapy specialist, Cherie gives you all an update on how she will be safely re-opening next month.

On the 25th of June the Government will announce the start of stage 3, which will hopefully be on the 4th of July.
The UK Association of Physical & Natural Therapists – ANPT, has just announced that although negotiations are ongoing, Government guidelines may change, and we may be told a different date. My guild is not included in with hairdressers or beauty salons, which may or may not have the same start date. We have therefore been advised to take no bookings until after the 25th of June. Having said that, my diary already has a huge waiting list, and it is likely to be closer to the end of July that my diary is fully open.
I will be doing fewer days and different days to start, as we all have to work together to see how to best serve our members and clients. I will therefore be seeing a maximum of five clients a day. I will be emailing client risk assessment forms that will also double as client session notes, these must be returned 24 hours prior to appointments. I will also be providing PPE both for my clients and myself. I am not currently raising prices to cover this hopefully temporary extra cost. There is no upstairs waiting area at this time, I am currently allowing 30 min between clients, to thoroughly clean my room & prepare for my next booking as well as meeting the client downstairs and escorting them up to the room & escorting them out. Please note Car Park charges will be in effect, and I am unable to absorb those. I suggest you avoid driving if possible as the car park will be busy.
